They say your computer's got problems and even make weird noises like it's infected with a virus, just to freak you out about your Windows 10. Don’t even bother replying or calling back, it’s all fake. Definitely not a legit number, 00102081551095 or whatever it is. I asked which operating system he was talking about but he didn’t reply, probably 'cause I told him I’m all about Linux and he only seemed to know Microsoft stuff. I reckon the 001 code means he was calling from abroad. I had a bit of fun and teased him, asking if he honestly thought he was better with computers than me - naturally, he didn’t say a word back. Ended up using five minutes of his time just messing about. They said I’d been told to ring them because of a problem with Windows 8. When I asked where they got my number, they said from PCI, but I told them PCI wouldn’t have given it out and I wasn’t having any laptop issues. The guy, who sounded Indian, tried insisting he wasn’t trying to scam me, but when I said no, he just hung up.
