Got a call from someone with an Indian accent asking for Mrs ###, who we've never heard of. He said he needed to verify an address, which wasn't ours at all. Then he said sorry and promised we wouldn’t be bothered by their calls again.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, named Kent. This was the third time he rang me, saying if I didn't take part in a quick two-minute survey, the calls from "Connect Customer" would just keep coming. I asked if I could talk to his manager instead, but he said he was the one in charge and there was no one else to speak to. When I told him I'd report the number to the police, he didn’t really care at all.

Received a call earlier today but chose not to pick up. I decided to verify the number by dialling 1417. I’m quite meticulous about checking unknown numbers, and I’m grateful I did, especially after seeing the comments above.

This is the third occasion I've received a call from this number. The person on the other end spoke with an Indian accent and now seems to be using this dodgy number to evade caller ID. It’s quite astonishing that the government has the power to put an end to these nuisance calls but appears to be doing nothing about it.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent, sounded like he was in some bustling call centre. He asked for me by name and claimed he had a couple of quick questions - said it would only take two minutes. Yeah, right! Why on earth can't these nuisance calls just be put to an end? It's beyond frustrating!

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, saying she was from some connect customer service. I looked it up online and found out they’re actually located in Punjab! I wasn’t having any of it though, told her I didn’t know who she was and refused to answer her questions. I reckon it’s probably some ID theft scam going on.

They've phoned me two days in a row now. They already had my name and where I live, then tried to get me to answer some questions. I said no thanks and asked them to stop calling and take my number off their list, but they still rang me the following day.

Got a call around 12.30pm on 14/12/16 from a bloke with an Indian accent who was hard to understand. Said he wasn’t a seller but wanted to check if someone lived here, knew way too much. Later mentioned something about customer satisfaction from some unrecognised source and told them to quit ringing me again. Strange call.
