I answered, prepared to give them a piece of my mind, but the caller said it was the hospital calling about my partner, who was in critical condition on life support. I said I was on my way and hung up. The phone kept ringing from that number at least seven more times but I didn’t pick up again. If I had actually had someone in hospital, getting such a call like this would be awful.
