I got nothing but heavy breathing when I answered the call - honestly, it was super weird and a bit spooky.

Got a call from an Asian scammer. Since I work in software, I kinda tracked him down. Then they called again, somehow had my name and even threatened to mess with my wife! Really creepy stuff.

Really pushy, told me to switch my computer on because apparently it was getting hacked. I ended the call and they rang back right away. I asked how I could be sure they were legit and they claimed they'd give me my product key once connected. I had a feeling it was a scam so I called Microsoft directly just to check.

Got two calls within 90 minutes, both claiming to be from Microsoft - total scam. I pretended to be clueless and dragged it out until they asked for my Visa card details to fix my PC online straight away. They probably reckon everyone’s totally gullible. Never, and I mean NEVER, hand over your Visa info. Even your bank won’t request that. Microsoft doesn’t cold call about software or repairs, so watch out! D.M

Got a call surprisingly early and something felt odd when I noticed the number had 13 digits. Really happy to have this website to check who was ringing me.

Got the same call again from a bloke claiming to be with Microsoft, asking if I'm the primary user of my PC. When I questioned him why, he started ranting about loads of issues on my computer. I told him straight up I know it’s a scam and he’s just wasting his time. Then I ended the call. Once again, he spoke with a really strong Asian accent!

Got a call super early, like 7:15 in the morning, from someone with a really strong Asian accent saying they were from Microsoft’s tech support. Total scam vibes, so I just ended the call right away. Then, the number rang back straight away, but when I answered there was no one there, which felt pretty dodgy. Would definitely avoid that number if I were you.

There’s this Asian bloke called Keven who rang us. He mentioned something about the line being connected to dodgy stuff. My wife started getting nervous after the third ring. The first time he called was around 7:15 in the morning. Honestly, I’m kind of waiting for him to ring back tomorrow. I’m ready for him!

Got a couple of calls today from someone claiming to be a Microsoft engineer. When I asked about IPs or any tech stuff, he couldn’t really explain anything. Bit strange, honestly.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were from Microsoft. They said they needed to help me sort out some hacker issue. Asked if I was on my computer, which seemed a bit off. I asked them for a contact number to ring back, and they gave me 01183287143 - not sure that’s legit either. Of course, I didn’t bother calling back.

Just like a few others here, I kept him chatting for a bit. Then, when he asked what I saw on my screen, I slowly spelled 'Conman' to him. That really set him off, and he started shouting. My tip? Just say you don’t own a computer at all.
