I received a call earlier today, just past half two in the afternoon (Luxembourg time). As soon as I answered, I was greeted by a robotic voice that stated it was a payphone call. Without hesitation, I hung up the phone immediately.

Got a dodgy call on my home phone claiming to be from paypal, some robotic voice telling me to punch in my account pin. They buzzed me non stop like 3 times right after each other, i picked up then hung up twice, just ignored the last one. The legit paypal only has my mobile and they always text me if i log in, so i figured this was a scam for sure.

Got a voicemail that said it was from PayPal or something like that. I ended the call but then this same number kept ringing me back about four more times in just a few minutes. Didn’t pick up any of those calls and eventually had to just unplug my phone to stop it all.

I got a call from this number just as I was sending some money via PayPal. They asked me to enter a PIN which came through in a text message to confirm the bank account I’d just linked. It was a bit unexpected but seemed legit.
