I’m not really sure whether this number is dodgy or legit.

I live near Glasgow and got several calls from Azerbaijan, the number starting with +994 51 549 29 00. I decided to block it but then they just switched the last digit to 01, 02 and so on. Sounds like one of those expensive callback lines. Honestly, just block and forget about it - don’t ring them back or you’ll probably end up with a massive phone bill.

That +99 code is from Azerbaijan, right? I’m quite sure I’ve never had any kind of contact with a biz from there or connected to it. What’s odd is the calls started just after 8pm on a Sunday and kept coming every couple of hours, all the way until the last one at like 5am Monday. Seems like a total scam to me.

Got called seven times within a day and night. I blocked the number, then tried blocking it again with the last digit switched and still got more calls. Really annoying!

I’ve had this number ring me about 8 times already today, starting ridiculously early around 4:13 am. It only buzzes once then hangs up straight away. What’s that about?
