Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying there was something wrong with my PC. Luckily, I watched a show about scammers just the night before, where folks shared their experiences with calls like this one. I told him I wasn’t buying it and hung up straight away. These types usually pretend they work for Microsoft, but they’re just out for a scam. Now that I’ve got this number, I’m going to ignore any calls from it, and I’d suggest anyone else who comes across it does the same.

They said they were from Microsoft but when I told them I don't actually own a computer, they just ended the call straight away.

I got a call around 9:45am on 14th May from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He said my computer was spreading a virus and told me to switch it on. When I asked if I could ring him back later, he just ended the call straight away.

They called me once more this morning, repeating the exact same thing. They said they were from Microsoft and that my computer had some virus or corruption. I told them to stop calling me again.
