12 yearsOh no, not Aurthur Sawyer! Earlier today, I received a call from a bloke with an accent so atrocious that I genuinely wondered if he was busy doing something rather unsavoury to a camel (let's be honest, he probably was). Then, a little later on, I got a call from an Asian lady whose voice was reminiscent of that very same camel. To sum it all up, it appears they’ve gone and spoofed some unfortunate chap's number. This sort of thing can easily happen to any one of us, so it’s wise to be cautious. My advice? Just don’t pick up the phone!Aurthur Sawyer12 yearsI received a call earlier today from an individual who had quite a strong Indian accent, and it was around 12:07 in the afternoon. The moment he claimed to be with Windows Technical Support, I couldn’t resist and interrupted him. I said, “Oh, is that so? Because I’m employed at Microsoft. Which department are you in?” Without missing a beat, he cut the line. I reckon I’ve successfully made it onto their no-contact list since I didn't buy into their little ruse. Admittedly, I don’t actually work for Microsoft, but I’m well aware that no one refers to the company as Windows. They’re only trying to install a virus on your machine right under your nose.MicrosoftWindows12 yearsI received a rather dubious call earlier today from a chap with an Indian accent, right around half eleven. As soon as he mentioned he was representing Windows Technical Support, I couldn’t resist interrupting him. I said, “Oh, is that so? I actually work at Microsoft. Which department do you belong to?” At that point, he hung up quicker than a flash! I reckon I’ve successfully dodged their scam, and I might just have earned myself a spot on their do-not-call list. Truth be told, I don’t actually work for Microsoft, but anyone in the know would never refer to the company as ‘Windows’. Clearly, they were up to no good, likely trying to infect my computer with some nasty malware.Microsoft12 yearsToday I’ve received four calls from that particular number, claiming to be from Windows support. I told them I’m on a Mac, and they promptly hung up. When I tried to ring them back, all I got was a busy tone. I even requested them to stop calling and remove my number from their list, but, clearly, that didn’t have any effect whatsoever! :o(12 yearsI keep getting calls where the line goes dead. It's becoming absolutely maddening! Can someone please put an end to this? Thank you!12 yearsI've been receiving numerous calls from this number throughout the day. I choose not to pick up. I really don't fancy getting into a debate with a sales caller.Submit Your Own Report (0989 792 9494)
