Some weird foreign voice started talking nonsense then hung up on me. Bit of a shame, I was actually keen to waste their time since it seemed like one of those annoying spam calls!

They call me pretty much every morning. When I told them I don’t own a computer, they seemed totally confused and asked me again two times. I waited hoping they’d say something sensible but after a long pause, they just hung up. The calls still keep coming every single day. I use a BT phone that lets you stop calls from certain numbers. I added that particular number to the block list, so when they ring, they just hear a message like "thanks for calling" and never reach my answerphone. It’s really good!

This number keeps ringing me up and they’re proper annoying. Even after I tell them I’m on the TPS and demand they stop calling, they actually argue back - can you believe that? Sometimes I pretend to do something and put them on hold, making them hang around pointlessly. Other times I just keep saying the same thing like "Stop calling me. Stop calling me." over and over, like a scratched CD. It’s a small way to get back at them! Honestly, the phone regs need to crack down on these.

When I pick up, about a third of the time they claim to be from Microsoft, telling me my computer has errors. They want me to turn it on, visit a website and let them take control, which I never do because I know it’s a total scam - they’re definitely not from Microsoft and have no clue about my computer. The rest of the time, I answer and just get silence before they hang up almost immediately. I’ve been on the TPS for donkeys years, so why aren’t these folks banned? I reckon they’re calling from abroad, but the authorities should really block this number from hassling people in the UK.

This number has been ringing me non-stop for about four days, probably close to 20 times. Since I wasn’t around, they just left messages on my answerphone, but my son-in-law ended up deleting them all because it was getting ridiculous with so many calls from the same place. This bloke was really rude, he asked me what was wrong when I told him I didn’t have a computer. When I said I wasn’t interested in any help, he went on and said something like “you English are all the same.” Proper cheeky and not very polite at all.

They pretend to be from Microsoft about your PC but really they want you to let them on your computer to steal your info - as soon as I told them I use a Mac, they tried to transfer me to some "Mac team". These dodgy calls come at least twice a day on our work line and are such a pain. Total scam!
