Received a call from someone inquiring about Mr. ~~. When I informed him that I wasn’t the resident, he bizarrely asked if I was “the owner of the computer.” Quite odd, as surely most households own multiple machines these days. I promptly called him out as a phone scammer and disconnected the line.

To my astonishment, he rang me again a minute later, indignantly proclaiming, “How dare you address me in such a manner?” Well, if you intrude on my personal space with an unsolicited call, you’re opening the door to whatever cheeky response I wish to deliver!

On the 1st of July, 2014, I received a call that came up as "WINDOWS" on my caller ID. The individual on the other end seemed to know my name and attempted to pose as a technician from Microsoft. He claimed he could help me fix some supposed issues with my computer. I decided to end the conversation abruptly. Fingers crossed he'll be apprehended for this nonsense!

I received a phone call claiming to be from my credit card provider, who said they were looking into an unusual transaction from eBay. They requested to confirm my address, and to make matters worse, the call came through at the crack of dawn when I was still in a daze. It turns out they’ve managed to breach my credit card and bank account. Quite alarming, really!

I just had a rather dodgy phone call that I believe was a phishing scam masquerading as Visa. My caller ID flashed up 'Visa', so I thought it was worth answering. The chap on the line claimed he was ringing because there had been a transaction on my card linked to eBay. Before he could carry on with his spiel, I asked him which bank had issued my Visa card. His response was a cheeky, "Don't you know?" At that point, I realised I might be dealing with a scammer, so I insisted on knowing why he couldn't confirm that information. He blurted out something about it being from TD Visa. Well, sorry mate, but that was the wrong reply! I urge everyone to steer well clear of giving out any personal details to these dodgy characters.
