They keep ringing my home phone and just drop the call as soon as I pick up. It’s really annoying.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying there was a Microsoft security problem. She hung up as soon as I questioned her. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from this number and when I picked up, there was just silence. After about 10 seconds, the call got switched over somewhere else, and I quickly hung up, worried it might cost me. They tried calling again a few minutes later, but I just ignored it.

My 77 year old mum got a call from someone claiming to be from a service that blocks annoying calls. They told her it was free but then asked for her bank details. Luckily she was suspicious and didn’t give anything away. Sounds like a typical scam trying to trick elderly people.
