Indeed, this number is definitely part of a TalkTalk scam. Curiously enough, it has a 0191 area code, which is commonly associated with Tyneside. However, if you attempt to call it back, you’ll be met with a message stating that the number isn’t valid. Quite suspicious, wouldn't you say?

I received a call today, but they didn't utter a word. Instead, I was met with a pre-recorded message that simply said goodbye. I've since decided to block that number.

I've received numerous phone calls from this number, claiming to be from Talk Talk, the provider of my internet services. They consistently inquire about the number of devices linked to my router and then attempt to persuade me to boot up my computer under the pretense that there’s a fault with my router. I've firmly declined to do so. The chap on the line speaks with a distinctly Indian accent and frequently adopts different names-names like Steve, Dave, and other typical British monikers. I've expressed my suspicions that this is indeed a scam and warned him that I intend to report the matter. This seemed to put a stop to the calls for a week, but now they’ve resumed once more.

I had a rather odd encounter today-some chap with a Middle Eastern accent rang me, inquiring whether my TalkTalk modem was powered up. He claimed to be from TalkTalk but didn't bother to give his name. After I sat in silence for a moment, he hung up on me! Honestly, I'm getting inundated with calls like this lately. It’s becoming quite tiresome!
