I never actually got a call from this number, but I did attempt to ring up the New York Metropolitan Opera to secure some tickets. It turns out that, unbeknownst to me, my call was redirected to 001917 6774373, leading me to an individual who peddled counterfeit tickets at triple the cost. Now, in my quest to obtain a refund from the MET, I've discovered that indeed those tickets are bogus, and alas, no chance of a refund exists. What a right mess!
