I recently received a phone call from this number, claiming to represent BT Openreach. They insisted the matter was quite urgent. However, when I mentioned that I would prefer to contact BT directly, they casually remarked that it was fine but warned that my internet would be cut off!

I merely greeted them with a "Hello," and then they abruptly ended the call.

A gentleman with an Asian accent rang me, claiming to be from BT and mentioned my name. He then proceeded to reference something like 888 DC, 7a Delta Alfie Charlie, which struck me as rather odd. At that point, I decided it was best to hang up. He subsequently called again shortly after.

A chap rang claiming to be from 'Openreach', insisting that the IP address linked to my internet provider was breached. It was blatantly a con.
