I swiftly ended the call, but they persisted, ringing me back six times as I repeatedly hung up on them. Eventually, I warned that I would involve the authorities, to which he ominously threatened to cut off my internet connection. I challenged him to do so, and lo and behold, I'm still online! The whole experience left me feeling quite uneasy.
