I got really worried after I called the number back. They asked for my phone number and name, which I gave them, but then they just ended the call. What freaked me out most was when they said the IRS was putting in two complaints against me. It was proper scary.

The number showed as just "wireless number" on my phone, so I just let it ring off. Later, I got a creepy voicemail from someone pretending to be the IRS, warning me this was my last warning before a lawsuit gets filed. They kept pushing me to ring them back on some "official" phone, but it was clearly a scam. Not falling for that one!

Got a call today saying it was my last warning and that the IRS was about to sue me. They told me to ring them back straight away. Since I work as a tax preparer, I know for a fact the IRS never makes calls like that. Don't even bother ringing this number, it's a total scam.
