I’ve been receiving quite a few calls from this particular number lately.

I received a rather unsettling phone call. The person on the line claimed that I’m embroiled in a federal investigation regarding some alleged misconduct and dubious dealings from an audit report. They warned me that if I failed to return the call, it would be construed as an acknowledgment of guilt on my part. Quite alarming, to say the least!
