Today, I received a message from someone who seemed to know me quite well, even mentioning my full name. They introduced themselves as Ms. Carol Gerermia, claiming to be the hiring manager at MFS Investment Management Company. According to her, they’d gone through my CV and had shortlisted me for an interview. When I inquired about the specific roles available, she provided a list of positions, but when I pressed for details on where they’d found my resume, the conversation abruptly stopped, and I didn’t receive any further replies. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Received a message that said, “Hi there, I presume this is (my first and last name)?” I chose not to reply.

I received a message stating my full name. I chose not to respond and deleted it straight away. Since I'm using my grandparents' landline, I was wary of incurring any charges for replying, just in case it turned out to be one of those dodgy numbers.
