Got a call on my mobile today but they didn't leave any voicemail.

This guy sounded like he was from another country, his accent was pretty thick. He kept bringing up some kind of 'medical group', but honestly I struggled to catch what he was saying. I told him I’m registered on the national ‘do not call’ list, but he just kept asking, "Why though?" I told him again to remove me from their calling list, yet he still wouldn’t drop it, kept going on with "Why?" These people are total con artists!

The number showed up as Belvidere, NJ on our caller ID and my husband picked up since he deals with some clients over there. The guy on the phone wanted to speak to me but when my husband asked who exactly he was, the man claimed he was from a medical centre. That’s when my husband decided to just end the call. I’ve seen similar stories on other websites about this scam, and it’s quite worrying.
