I received a call today intended for my employer. I made it clear that I wasn't willing to share my personal mobile number. They were rather insistent and, quite rudely, cut the conversation short when I requested they leave a message.

I've discovered that this number belongs to a call centre that pushes promotional goods. They ring us almost every day, which is quite frankly a right nuisance and a drain on my time! To add to that, the woman who keeps calling my workplace has been remarkably aggressive and discourteous when I've denied her access to any of our management team. Quite odd, considering she's trying to sell us something! My managers have now been informed about this persistent bother. Today, I took the step of contacting their office, insisting that they add all of our business numbers to their Do Not Call list. Just to note, our numbers are already registered with the government for DNC as well.

I've been getting calls from a rather tenacious telemarketer who goes by the name Brandon Taylor. He tries to act all chummy, as if we’ve known each other forever, which is quite far from the truth. It's utterly baffling how this bloke seems to slip through the cracks of the Do Not Call Register. He has not only rung my home phone but also bothered my underage daughter, trying to pry my mobile number from her. To make matters worse, he's interrupted me at work during a meeting and has even dialed my personal mobile. This kind of nonsense really needs to be put to a stop!
