Received a rather perplexing automated call purportedly concerning "myself" and some sort of collections matter. Truth be told, I’m currently living on limited means due to my disability and spend most of my days at home. I don’t possess any pay-as-you-go options, payment schemes, shopping cards from any retail outlets, or anything remotely similar. I’m at a complete loss as to how my name ended up in their system, especially since we’ve retained the same phone number for well over a decade. Just to note, our number is registered on the Canadian Do Not Call Registry, which can be found here: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/insnum-regnum-eng, and they also have a portal to lodge complaints: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/pfac-fcca-eng It’s utterly ridiculous and immensely irritating, particularly as my husband is now under the impression that I owe money to some mysterious “organisation.” All I can do is exclaim in frustration!
