I've been receiving calls from 1-905-481-7143 every weekend for the last month. The penultimate time I picked up, I inquired about the purpose of their call and they mentioned it had something to do with my credit card interest rate. Once I stated that I’ve never had a credit card, they abruptly cut the line. Yet, just this past weekend, they rang me again! It’s as if they don’t grasp the fact that they’re targeting the wrong person. Honestly, it’s rather infuriating-can someone please put a stop to these persistent callers?

Avoid picking up calls from this number! They requested details from the back of my card, and a relative unwittingly shared our information. Not long after, there were two attempts to use the Visa; fortunately, it didn’t fly since the card wasn’t physically present at the shop. I wasted no time in cancelling the card, and the Visa company promptly informed us about those attempts. Seriously, don’t divulge a single thing over the phone! They’re quite crafty with their questions, so just hang up and head straight to your bank instead!

I've only just begun receiving these calls-one purportedly from "South Africa," another with the tag of "Australia"… I choose not to pick up, and curiously, they never leave a voicemail.
