For the last few weekends, this number 1-905-481-7143 keeps ringing me. A couple of calls ago I picked up and they started talking about my credit card interest. I told them straight away I don’t even have a credit card, asked who they were trying to reach, and they just ended the call. Then they had the cheek to ring again this weekend! Like, how many times do they need to hear it? Honestly so annoying, they really need to get the message already. Proper pain in the neck!

Don't pick up these calls! When they asked for the number on the back of my card, a relative gave it out and within an hour there were two attempts to use my Visa. Luckily, the transactions didn’t go through as the card wasn’t present in the shop. I cancelled the card straight away and the bank informed me about the suspicious activity. Never share your details on the phone! They try sneaky questions, just end the call and contact your bank directly!

Got a call about my Visa credit card, they said something about cancelling my credit limit. When I asked which card exactly they were referring to, they just said Visa and then suddenly cut me off. I was pretty sure it was a scam but figured I'd play along a bit without sharing anything to see what they’d say next. Don’t be fooled by this, it’s just another con like those income tax scams. Honestly, these scammers should be locked up.

This is just pure rubbish. I get a call from them every day saying it’s the “final warning” but seriously, they’ve been ringing non stop for about a week now. Got a phone call from these people earlier. The lady on the line claimed they’d been trying to contact me and today was the deadline to secure a lower interest rate of 4% on my credit card. When I asked which credit card she meant, she said Visa. I then asked which company she was representing, and she answered Visa Head Office. She asked for my credit card number and expiry date. I told her straight away I wasn’t sharing such details over the phone and that I would call my bank soon. Without another word, she just ended the call.

The caller ID shows a number apparently from Turkey (+90 548 171 43), which seems kinda suspicious. I’ve only just begun to get these calls - one claimed to be from Australia, another from South Africa. I never pick up, and they never bother to leave a voicemail either. Seems fishy to me.

Somebody rang me telling me I could get a permanently reduced interest rate if I handed over my credit details. I asked them what card they were talking about and they said Visa. I knew straight away, cause I only got a MasterCard. They just cut me off, probably to save their time and go scam someone else. I like to keep these scammers chatting as long as I can, just to make them waste their time.

When I told them I wasn’t giving out that info on a phone call, the caller just told me to “go to hell.” Lovely attitude. Honestly, there ought to be some way to catch and stop these scammers for good.
