I said yes but immediately told them I’m not comfortable sharing any details over the phone with strangers. I asked if they could send me anything in the post so I could check their company’s background properly. The guy, who sounded like he had an Indian accent, then launched into some long spiel I barely caught but involved asking if I’d give him ten minutes to send me some info by email. I got a bit more serious with my tone, repeating that I don’t do this kind of thing over the phone and insisted on them mailing me information instead. Right in the middle of me talking, he just hung up. It’s pretty clear to me this is a scam, and people need to watch out. Don’t give out your details to them!12 yearsGot a call from someone chatting about a payday loan or something like that. Could barely make out what they were saying. I’ve recorded some of the calls and they’re actually kind of funny, but it’s gotten old and I want it to end.
