Had a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with my computer. I just said thanks but I’m not interested and wished her a good day. Sounds like a total scam, watch out for this kind of nonsense.

Some bloke rang me saying there was something wrong with my Windows. Figured it was legit so I let him on my PC. He ‘showed’ me a black screen claiming my computer was infected with a virus. I’m rubbish with computers, so I got worried and asked if he could fix it. He said his boss okayed it but it’d cost me. I didn’t even ask how much and just said I’d call back later. Then he got all annoyed, saying I should’ve told him sooner. I hadn’t had virus protection for a few days since my subscription ended. Should I be stressing? What if that dodgy caller actually put something nasty on my computer?

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft tech support, saying my computer had loads of errors. I told him the only problem was him trying to con me, and he just cut me off straight away... what a mug!

I've had this number ring my house loads of times in just one day, but I just don't pick up. Honestly, there ought to be some sort of rule to stop random numbers pestering you all the time. Really grateful for caller ID keeping me from bothering with these calls.

Got a call from someone claiming my antivirus was messed up and causing errors with my computer’s programs and registration. I played along for about ten minutes, but when they asked me to go to a website, I just ended the call. Then they rang me back again shortly after.

Got a call from this number with a thick London accent, claiming to be from some tech firm. Pretty sure the call was actually coming from overseas, probably using an American system to make it look like a local number on my phone. I don’t usually fall for this stuff and since I’d never seen the number before, I knew something dodgy was going on. Best to steer clear of this number. I just cut the call straight away.

This number keeps ringing me up, always claiming there's an issue with my computer, which there isn’t. They just want to get access to it. Sounds like a scam to me. I’m blocking it for good and you might want to do the same. They’re nothing but scammers!
