They handed me a confirmation number and another number to ring, which turned out to be a Google Voice line, saying it was from the Federal Grants Office. After their whole spiel, they asked me to pay a £200 transfer fee to receive the funds! How is it that they want money upfront for cash they're supposedly giving to low-income folks with no repayments?!
