I just had a rather unsettling phone call from this number, with someone on the other end insisting in a rather forceful manner that I must ring them back immediately, either personally or through a legal representative, or else face some sort of penalty. They even provided an alternative number to reach, 1877-342-3271. Strangely, there was no mention of what the issue was, nor did they bother to ask for my name. It dawned on me that this has to be a scam. It’s quite revolting how some people resort to such underhanded tactics to get a reaction. Is there a way to report this to the correct authorities? I’d like to see them put a stop to this nonsense.

I had a ring from this number, so naturally, I decided to return the call. Turns out, it was just some ridiculous survey. They mentioned that if I wanted to opt out of their list, I should press 9, which I went ahead and did. Now it’ll be interesting to see how this unfolds...
