A bit suspicious, I decided to call the number and inform them that I hadn't made any purchase from McAfee, as my subscription was already up to date. The person on the other end assured me that they could cancel the transaction on my behalf and inquired if I was sitting near my computer. Realizing that this might be a scam, I declined their offer and mentioned that I would personally reach out to McAfee to inquire about the charge. It seems that their intention is to gain control of your computer and potentially obtain sensitive banking information. If you refuse their assistance and mention contacting McAfee directly, they may request to reach out to you later when you are near your computer.

They mentioned that they will send a receipt via email. Should you have any inquiries, please call 888-234-1901. The message originated from the number 878-206-4389. I am completely unaware of who this sender is and I have never even heard of "geek's support" before.
