I got a call from a company calling themselves Platinum Loan. I looked them up online. I was thinking about getting a loan to boost my credit score. They said no worries, they've been doing it for ages. But then they asked me to send copies of my social security card, driver’s licence, and even my bank card so they could “check” my credit. After that, they said they could lend me £35,000. First, they wanted to send me £800, but then I had to send that same amount back using a loan card. I noticed they even took £800 from my account! They even called me from my bank’s number, which is why I trusted them enough to share my details. But I grew suspicious when they told me not to get in touch with my bank.
