I received an automated call claiming to be about a banking transaction, and somehow, they had my name. The voice on the line prompted me to press '1' to connect with someone. However, after pressing it, I was met with nothing but the sound of typing for a staggering seven minutes while I repeatedly chimed in with 'hello'. In the end, they just cut me off. Curiously, when I looked up the number, it was registered to a Rachel Williams in Yaphank, New York, linked to the phone number 631-294-7342. I decided to ring that number, but all I got was a man's voicemail. When I attempted to reach the 870 number again, it was engaged. What a strange experience!
