I have been receiving robot calls at my workplace. Unfortunately, I am unable to understand who they are asking for. They provide a case number and the same call-back number each time. Curious, I decided to call back and speak to an operator directly. The operator asks for the number that was called, so I provide it. I received a call from someone claiming to be from Action Collection, stating that I owed them money. They mentioned that the call was being recorded, and tried to ask for my personal information. However, I informed them that I was not comfortable providing any personal details over the phone. I pointed out that if I truly owed them money, they would have my information and could send me a letter in the mail. Shortly after, they abruptly ended the call. It was clear to me that this was a fraudulent call.

It's essential to be vigilant of these scammers who have been making rude phone calls and contacting workplaces. This behaviour is illegal, so I plan to bring the letter to the police for them to handle these individuals.

A person I know received a phone call from a number that asked specifically for me. It's quite puzzling because I have never shared his number with anyone, nor would I ever consider doing so. The call was made late in the evening around 8 pm, and they contacted his workplace number instead. As a consequence, the individual on the line faced a stern scolding. I'm not familiar with this company or their activities, which leads me to question how they managed to obtain my acquaintance's number... ?

I have been receiving numerous calls from two particular numbers - this one and 1-866-899-4573, which are linked to the same ACRM listing. They have made a total of 20 calls since June 17th, 2015. Sometimes, they even call two to three times a day. Whenever I did manage to pick up their call, I heard either an automated message telling me to stay on the line for an agent, or a message stating that it wasn't a telemarketing call and to hold on. To avoid these calls, I added both numbers to my Call Block list so that my answering machine doesn't activate. Nevertheless, they persistently call at any time of the day or evening, often during meal times. It's frustrating how they incessantly bother everyone, and measures should be taken to put an end to their annoying calls.
