I just had a rather cheeky phone call from a lady named Veronica, who kicked things off with her standard line, “How are you today?” Naturally, I inquired about the company she represented, to which she fibbed about being based in London (which I knew was a load of nonsense). She then proceeded to claim that there were distress signals coming from my computer. Without hesitating, I hung up and looked up her number. It’s quite frustrating that more isn’t being done to tackle these sorts of calls. I can only imagine how many unsuspecting folks might fall for her ruse, allowing her to access their computers, which could lead to some serious risks for their personal and financial information.

I've received multiple calls from this number over the past three days, including the weekend. They haven't left a single message-just an incessant barrage of calls! Fortunately, my answering machine kicks in, so there's absolutely no information or correspondence on my end. Nevertheless, it’s still incredibly frustrating!

They’ve rung my home phone twice today. Each time, it’s either some muffled accent from abroad or a silent caller who just hangs up. Quite baffling, really!
