Received a couple of unsolicited calls from someone claiming my computer was riddled with a dreadful Trojan virus. I inquired how he came to know this when I hadn’t reached out for any technical assistance. On the second call, I firmly told him to cease contacting me or I’d escalate the matter to the authorities. Seems he got the message-no further calls since then!

I missed a ring earlier, and when I rang back, I was greeted by a pre-recorded message claiming they were contacting me about some malware they supposedly found on my computer. The funny thing is, I hadn’t even turned my computer on for over eight hours! Hardly convincing-definitely a scam. I recall a previous incident where a similar caller insisted I download a program to sort out the 'malware'. Didn't fall for it back then, and I certainly won’t be fooled again.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Windows, saying they could assist with fixing my computer. The number they called from was 8452411234. Does anyone else have experience with this?
