I've been receiving regular phone calls around midday from an unfamiliar number. I haven't picked up any of them so far.

I received a voice message from a woman who said she was representing Ofcom. She warned me that my external line was in jeopardy and would be cut off within the next day because of local hacking activities. I was instructed to press 1 to talk to someone at BT. I decided to hang up instead.
