So, I got a message saying my computer was hacked, right? I phoned the number they gave, and they took control of my PC. I couldn’t do anything with it until I followed their weird instructions. They even shared loads of personal details like their name and ID number! After a while, I just cut off the internet, switched off my phone line, and shut down my laptop. When I turned it back on and reconnected the internet, the warning popped up again. I closed it down once more and this time used a different web browser instead of Chrome. Seems like everything’s okay now. Properly freaked me out though.
