I got a weird text from this number out of the blue saying, “Hey, when’s the underwear I ordered gonna get here?” I told them I had no clue what they were on about, and then they sent another message like, “You seem polite and chill, wanna be pals? I’m Ivy, nice to meet ya.” Honestly, I doubt their real name is actually Ivy. Why would some random person from New York - guessing from the 845 code - be texting me about underwear, then suddenly wanna be “friends” when I’m over in a different state? It’s just bizarre. Feels like yet another scam, especially since loads of dodgy calls seem to come from New York anyway!
