I received a phone call from someone claiming they had "complimentary information available for free." When I probed a bit about the content, the chap on the line seemed rather miffed and just kept insisting it was free, albeit in a rather irritable tone. I politely mentioned I had to head into work and suggested he reach out later. He retorted, "Tomorrow’s the weekend; we won’t be contacting you again." I reassured him it was perfectly fine, but today wasn’t ideal for me to chat. I suggested he could ring me back next week if need be. He then exclaimed, “Next week?! Oh my goodness, which day?” At that point, it was clear he had lost his professional edge, and I decided to hang up and block his number. It was alarming that they already had my email address too.

I encountered an arrogant individual when they rang seeking someone. When I inquired about their identity, they completely brushed me off, instead insisting on whether I was the individual they were searching for. It was as if they thought it perfectly acceptable to dodge my question while demanding a reply from me. They refused to divulge who they were or the name of their organisation. Utterly discourteous! They have no business operating in this manner and clearly won't get anywhere with such behaviour. I've promptly added them to my do not call list!
