They tried getting me to hand over money using my credit card, definitely a scam.

I got a call from someone claiming they bought a debt of mine from over a decade ago. They kept saying they were gonna take me to court and sue me. They even asked me to sort out a payment plan and somehow knew what I earn. They wanted me to pay £10,000! This whole thing felt really dodgy and not at all right. I mean, who does stuff like this to people? It’s just not on.
