I received a voicemail from someone claiming to be with the CRA, which immediately set off alarm bells for me. The caller warned against returning the call and ominously wished me luck with the supposed consequences of ignoring him. I've saved the message for future reference. Oddly, when I check my recent calls, there's no record of any unknown numbers having contacted me. Quite curious, don’t you think?

I've noticed that the same number keeps popping up, with the code V30214484800024 changing each time. However, that 1-844 number remains consistent. They’ve called me several times, but I only picked up once. It was an automated message claiming to be from the CRA, and I cut it off right away because I realise it’s a scam. The CRA never makes phone calls like that; they communicate through letters. I’m well aware that I have no dealings with them that could invite such a call. It’s about time we put a stop to these scoundrels-report them to the authorities and let’s get them prosecuted!
