Someone rang me from this number saying they were with EOS Canada Inc., which they said is a debt collection agency working with the government. They told me I supposedly had a theft charge from 1997, under $5000, and that I still owe $100. They threatened that if I didn’t pay, the government could seize my tax refunds or something. I ended the call straight away because I wasn’t sure if it was genuine, and honestly, I doubt it is since I’ve never had any such charge. Also, why would they bother chasing this after so many years anyway?
