I received a call from someone claiming to be Patrick, who had a bit of an Indian accent and said he was from Microsoft. He insisted it was crucial to discuss something related to my computer. This is the second time he’s phoned me this week, and I’m absolutely exasperated! I ended up being quite curt and simply cut the call.

These lot are definitely dodgy; steer clear of their calls!

I keep receiving calls from this fella claiming that I've downloaded something dodgy, and he insists he needs to sort my computer out. I made the mistake of trusting them once when I shelled out for Windows 10, and let me tell you, my machine hasn't been right since. Once I ditched Windows 10 and reverted to 8, my computer perked up a bit, but alas, these callers won’t leave me be, touting they’re from Microsoft. Spoiler alert: they're definitely not; they're apparently from AP Technologies, whatever that is! I cannot stress this enough-don’t fall for their nonsense!
