Honestly, I’m pretty doubtful when it comes to companies like this, so I wasn’t sure what to make of their claims. They said my PC got hacked and that no other antivirus programs could detect it. They even gave me a demo online which seemed convincing, though I have no clue how they managed to pull that off. Still, I did notice some strange behaviour from my computer and modem afterwards. Now I’m starting to think it might actually have been them after all. I reckon a quick check with the local BBB might be a smart move to get to the bottom of this.

This just happened to me too. I rang them straight back and told them I wasn’t falling for their scam. They ended the call so quickly, didn’t even try to argue. Proper lowlife stuff.

I got a call from some scammers pretending to be CRA agents. They said I or my lawyer needed to get in touch with them, but I told them straight away I knew it was a trick and that I’d be reporting them to the police. After that, they just hung up on me.
