I dialled a number thinking it was Norton, but it wasn’t. Turns out it was a scam and I got caught up in it. Luckily, I noticed it in time and my credit card company’s looking into the matter. I even got a call from the scammers trying to sort things out. I messed up once, not twice though. The very next day, they rang me again from that same number. I just hung up straight away because I heard it’s best not to speak with them at all.

Got a call from a bloke called Johnny, said he was with Kaspersky and asked if I had any issues with their software. It sounded a bit dodgy, so I rang Kaspersky myself and the lady there said they don’t ever call customers out the blue - you’re supposed to get in touch with them, not the other way around. The number he used was 888 220 1305, extension 507, called just the day before. Watch out for this one!

I saw a missed call from a number I didn’t know, so I let it go to voicemail. When I checked the message, it was just someone breathing into the phone for a good minute and a half. Definitely putting that number on my block list.
