This individual, who identified herself as Elisa, insisted that there was a pending case against me but was rather unhelpful when I pressed for details-such as the nature of the debt or its amount. To add to the perplexity, she provided me with an address that’s so ancient I could hardly recall it. Frustrated by her lack of transparency, I mentioned that I’d be getting in touch with my solicitor, and just like that, she cut the call without another word...
