I recently came across a computer scam that’s truly concerning. A notification popped up on my dad’s system, claiming that it had been infected with a virus and urged him to ring a number for assistance. Unfortunately, he fell for it and they swindled him out of approximately £500. It’s infuriating how these con artists prey on unsuspecting individuals who may not be tech-savvy. Be wary of such tactics!

I received a rather alarming message indicating that my computer was linked to Allied computer programs. To my dismay, my laptop was completely locked, and I found myself unable to access any files. The notification warned me to reach out to Allied, claiming my device had been infected with a virus and would be permanently shut down unless I contacted a specific number. I tried every possible method to regain entry, to no avail. In the end, I incurred a hefty charge of £320 to resolve the issue. What raised my eyebrows was their insistence that if anyone claimed to represent Microsoft, they were merely impersonating and could not be trusted. Additionally, I noticed some unusual transactions in my bank account listed as PBSincredible shenzben chn card. Interestingly enough, my account number is yhck15 - could that possibly imply I've been compromised? What do you reckon?
