Really unsettling stuff, they called me using my full name and claimed they had some urgent details about a business issue. The creepy part is, I’m actually getting ready to start a business soon, which made me wonder if Google’s listening in on my chats and passing that info on to others.

Got a text asking if I knew a "Jeffrey PHAIL-RABY" and they wanted me to ring back, but then they gave me a completely different number to call instead. Quite confusing!

Got a message on my phone from someone wanting my daughter to ring them back about something urgent. Said it wasn’t a sales call or anything. Thing is, I don’t even live with her anymore, and our numbers aren’t anywhere near alike. They somehow knew her name though. Guess I’m just blocking this number straight away.

I also received a message about an urgent matter for my husband, telling us to quote a number and saying it wasn’t a sales call. The weird thing is, we don’t have any accounts linked to that number and we’re all paid up, so definitely a scam.

They tried ringing me, but I blocked the number straight away. Now they’re sending texts too. Honestly, don’t bother answering - total scammers.

I’ve been getting loads of texts asking for a William Clarke. I looked the number up on Google and apparently it’s linked to a scam. Best not to respond, from what I found.
