10 yearsI received a call earlier on, and the individual on the line claimed to be from the tax office, threatening me with arrest over some so-called tax liabilities. Their accent suggested they were likely from India. Later in the evening, my brother picked up my phone and replied with a cheeky, “This is the tax office, how can I assist?” The caller seemed baffled and asked, “You’re with the tax office?” to which my brother affirmed, “Absolutely.” At that point, the caller promptly disconnected.
