So this all kicked off yesterday, 14th September 2016. I got four calls that day, each time it just said ‘incoming call’ with no actual number showing. The first time I picked up, not realising it was some sort of scam. There was no one there, just a recorded message mumbling about having my social security number and name, and something about papers that needed to be brought to me - maybe something legal, court-related. The sound was so faint, I could barely make it out. I hung up, but they rang again. On the third call, all that showed was zeros on the caller ID, but the message was exactly the same. I managed to save three recordings, each identical, and they did leave me a number. Today, in just a few hours, they’ve called twice more. I’m seriously thinking about reporting this lot to the police.
