If you’ve already handed over the cash, just ring him over and over from a hidden number. It probably won’t bring your money back, but it’ll surely annoy him. He blustered about killing me if I phoned again, but honestly, it’s just all hot air.

I got a call from someone claiming to be the electric company warning us our power was about to be disconnected because we hadn’t paid our bill. They asked why we hadn't answered their notices and kept insisting someone would be coming by soon. They even had another person ring back pretending to be the actual technician, giving our address and everything. Later, they said we’d accidentally paid the wrong account and that power would stay off until we paid a £2000 fee either in cash or by chip debit card. The bloke mentioned something about a corporate card and how to buy one, which sounded fishy. The guy called himself Ronnie Stevenson, but I don’t reckon that was his real name. Funny enough, he even had a “receptionist” and gave an extension number!

Someone's been using this number to trick people and take their cash. If anyone knows who owns it or where they’re from, please get in touch with me at [email protected]. I got conned out of £900 by them.

I got a call from this 18444041036ex996 number, and they said they were from National Grid. Not really sure what that was about.
