Got a call from (618) 205-5123 and they told me to ring another number. They said I was going to be served some legal papers. Total scam, be careful!

I keep getting calls from some debt collectors about a debt that’s not even mine. Seems like my phone number used to belong to someone who never paid up. It’s getting really frustrating having to constantly explain this to their creditors. Changing my number isn’t an option either, coz I’ve got loads tied to it already and I’m worried the new number will just be linked to someone else with unpaid debts. It’s honestly just a never-ending headache.
