I've been receiving incessant calls from a bloke who claims to be offering tech assistance. It's rather alarming because they actually managed to breach my computer's security in the past. I was under the impression I was speaking to representatives from Microsoft when they ended up charging me a staggering $500. It took a while for the penny to drop, and I finally realised it was all a ruse, so I promptly notified my credit card provider. Yet, the calls persist, with threats of further hacking and pressure to obtain more so-called "tech support." At this stage, I’m seriously considering ditching my computer altogether just to escape this ongoing torment.
